Biography Yoon is the type of boy who describes himself as a genius pretty boy and if that doesn't sum up a good bit of his personality I dunno what to tell you. He knows he's cute and he's shameless about how smart he is, though he's actually not all that conceited about it. He uses his intelligence and skills to help other people (though this wasn't always the case) and he's a pacifist unless someone he cares for is in danger (mostly because he's not very good at fighting). He's also the Mom Friend. He cooks, he cleans, he patches clothing, he tends to people when they're sick, and he nags like there's no tomorrow. He even makes bombs! Or at least fireworks. Sadly, Yoon isn't the best at making friends. Yeah, he's kind and clever and helpful, but he's not the most extroverted boy in the world and really he'd rather just help his small circle of people he already knows and Ik-su than get to know strangers. Strangers are almost always jerks. IN-GAME HISTORY: Yoon doesn't know who his parents were or when exactly he was born. When asked, he just tells people that he doesn't remember much until he was about six years old and by that point he was already living in the tiny hut in the now-vanished village he thinks he was born in. It was a poor village like many were back then, and unfortunately it was almost entirely humans. The few vampires that lurked in the darkest parts of the village tried to look out for each other, but even still Yoon remembers sneaking into dirty houses, letting one of the older vampires convince the entire household to let them drink, and then wiping their memories so they could do it again next week. By the time Yoon was eight (ish), he was the only vampire left in the village. The other, older vampires had gone, either dead or seeking work in a pureblood's household. Yoon had thought about leaving himself, but the village was his home and anyway he was old enough to take care of himself now. He could not, in fact, take care of himself. He wasn't as good at wiping memories as the older vampires had been, so he was stuck convincing travelers to stop and stay with him long enough to get a drink and praying the villagers never noticed. It wasn't the villagers who noticed, in the end. It was a traveler, some sort of priest or something, wandering through the village without a care. Something about the traveler called to Yoon and the young boy wasted no time in trying to convince him to come to his tiny hut, saying he had food and that obviously this man needed food! He was so skinny and Yoon was such a good cook, he really should stay. The traveler just smiled, seeing through Yoon's antics, and told him that if he was thirsty all he had to do was ask. Yoon panicked and threw a rock at the traveler before fleeing. He then felt incredibly guilty and went back to help the idiot traveler, who seemed content to just lie on the ground in the dirt. The traveler was a (as Yoon thought) noble-blooded vampire named Ik-su who, unlike most of his kind, was wandering the country as a scholar and priest (though Yoon is fairly certain Ik-su was never actually ordained), giving aid where he could to both humans and vampires. He offered to let Yoon drink from him if he needed it and promised to check up on him when he came back this way in a few weeks. And Yoon agreed, saying that at least this way Ik-su would get a good meal now and then. The two kept this up for a couple of years, Ik-su coming by as often as he could to check up on Yoon and Yoon insisting he didn't need checking up on and it was Ik-su who needed it the most. Still, it was nice to have someone who actually seemed to care about him. Yoon couldn't remember the last time someone actually cared about him beyond making sure he didn't go a little crazy from lack of blood. That Ik-su brought him stories and books from beyond the village was almost a bonus. Yoon was ten years old when Ik-su showed up to the village a week later than he had promised, bruised and more than a little tired. Some hunters had taken offense to his wanderings, he explained as Yoon panicked and began to apply whatever healing herbs he could think of to Ik-su's injuries. They thought he was scouting out prey or something and decided to warn him off it in a very violent way. Rather than risk them finding him and killing him, Ik-su told Yoon he was going to settle down somewhere alone and that he wouldn't be able to come visit Yoon again. Yoon protested, pointing out that vampires couldn't handle being alone like that and that Ik-su would need someone around to drink from! And to patch his clothing and cook his meals and make sure he didn't walk off a riverbank for the tenth time that month. He asked Ik-su to take Yoon with him, and Ik-su agreed. The two left that night and for the last few hundred years it was just them in a tiny house by a waterfall. Yoon had always known that Ik-su had some powers unique to him, largely of the premonition sort, so it was hardly a surprise when the older vampire told Yoon that he'd had another dream. A bloodline long kept dormant was waking up, he said, and in his dream Yoon was there at the heir's side as they awakened to their new powers--and no, he didn't know why Yoon was there, just that he was, which meant that Yoon was going to the newly opened-to-vampires Cross Academy. This was both a blessing and a curse for Yoon; it was a blessing because he'd read every book they owned a thousand times already and he was itching to learn more but it was a curse because there were going to be a lot of purebloods and aristocrats there. And Yoon really doesn't like purebloods and aristocrats. They've never done anything to help him so why should he care about people who clearly don't care about others? But Ik-su said he was going so going Yoon was. Sadly. Extra Info Character Links Here IC INBOX Here NAME: Fae TZ: Central CONTACT: Plurk @ FaeRose , Discord @ FaeRose#3079 AVAILABILITY. Is it a time?
